Dr. Gloria Poedjosoedarmo has taught language and applied linguistics courses in many Asian countries, including Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam. She has published several books, including The Sounds of English and The Grammar of English (Pearson Education), both co- authored with David Deterding. She is currently a Language Specialist at SEAMEO RELC, Singapore. Her interests include Phonetics, Sociolinguistics, and grammar and discourse.
